Began around 1750 in Great Britian
It changed the way people lived and made things
It was sparked by the textile industry

Spinning Jenny
James Hargreaves invited the spinning Jenny in 1764
It made it easier to spin more thread for cloth by spinning many threads at the same time
People didn't like the spinning jenny because they thought it would put them out of work
